George Clooney and Amal Clooney exuded megawatt Hollywood glamour as they welcomed a dazzling array of showbiz heavy hitters to their second annual Albie Awards in New York on Thursday.

The Albie Awards are held by the Clooney Foundation For Justice, which bills them as being for ‘courageous defenders of justice who are at great risk for what they do.’

They were named for Justice Albie Sachs, an internationally famous South African jurist subjected to jail and then exile for his activism against the apartheid regime.

This year’s honorees included a Ukrainian NGO, a Congolese anti-rape activist and the two Iranian journalists who broke the story of the killing of Mahsa Amini that ignited their country’s Woman Life Freedom uprising.

For her latest red carpet appearance, Amal draped her statuesque figure in a white sequined gown that featured a small train and matched her tiny clutch.

Letting her dark hair cascade over her shoulders in luxurious waves, she sharpened her cloven-in-marble features with makeup and lent the ensemble a dash of glitz with an ornate bracelet.

Meanwhile George, plumping for the silver fox look with a white beard and distinguished salt-and-pepper hairdo, modeled his signature classic tuxedo as he posed on his wife’s arm.

As they posed up a storm in front of the event’s gold backdrop, they mingled with some of the other attendees, including Amal’s mother, the Lebanese journalist Baria Alamuddin.

At one point the Hollywood power couple also posed flanking fashion designer Donatella Versace, who slid her trademark wiry frame into a daringly see-through brocaded gown.

They also got in a bit of hobnobbing with none other than beauty mogul Charlotte Tilbury, who made a splash in an eye-popping dress with a design reminiscent of fish scales.

Andra Day, who garnered critical acclaim and an Oscar nod for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in a recent biopic, also managed to get in a bit of posing with her hosts. 

Couples galore turned the fete into a date night, from ex-James Bond Daniel Craig and his actress wife Rachel Weisz to Oscar-winner Julianne Moore and her husband Bart Freundlich.

Cindy Crawford, reigning Supermodel of the 1990s, attended the fete on the arm of her dashing husband Rande Gerber, who co-founded the tequila brand Casamigos with George and businessman Mike Meldman.

The Vampire Diaries sizzler Nina Dobrev emphasized her impressively taut physique in a tantalizingly see-through gown as she struck a pose beside her snowboarder boyfriend Shaun White.

Kate Moss flaunted her still sensational figure in a translucent white gown, while Mark Ronson opted for a muted midnight blue suit and matching shirt and Stephanie March rocked a gleaming silver skirt.
