Glammed up revellers dressed to the nines as they made the last of the late summer sunshine at Ayr racecourse today.
Gorgeous dresses were paired with elaborate fascinators, towering heels and plunging necklines as racegoers dressed up in greens, pinks and oranges.
Female racegoers made the most of the third day of the event Virgin Bet Ayr Gold Cup Festival.
The third day, is of course Ladies Day, meaning the female racegoers did not disappoint with glamorous ensembles.
Bright colours seemed to be the trend of the day, with many fashionistas in seas of blue, pink and purple.

Many toned their looks down with muted accessories, including nude bags and silver heels.
The three-day meet, a highlight of the racing calendar, gives glamorous fans an excuse to get dressed up in their finery for a day of action.
Of course, no racing festival would be the same without a selection of elaborate millinery and there were plenty of eye-catching choices on display.
While some opted for subtle fascinators and headbands, others went all out in creations festooned with feathers and colourful bows.
Short, figure-hugging dresses were among the popular choices today, while one reveller opted for a cream number with a daring V-neck and sheer detailing.
Clad in eye-catching head pieces, sky high heels, daring hemlines and frilly dresses, well-dressed women looked delighted to be at today’s event.

Taking to Twitter ahead of the event, Ayr Racecourse tweeted: ‘LADIES’ DAY HAS ARRIVED! Tickets are available on the gate today, don’t miss out on a day filled with thrilling horse racing, fabulous fashion, and endless enjoyment’.
Despite 14C weather in a brisk but sunny Scotland, racegoers dressed up in thigh-skimming and sleeveless looks.
One reveller opted for a sleeveless baby blue mini dress with towering heels – while another command attention in a green tutu.
Revellers will also enjoy the sounds of Bon Jordi – a Bon Jovi tribute act – as well as local acts Waterfront, Colin McArdle and Clan MacCliche.
Perhaps its no surprise extra effort has been made today, with prizes up for grabs for Most Stylish Lady, Most Stylish Gent, Most Stylish Hat/Headpiece and Most Stylish Couple.
Prizes to be won include a £500 voucher from Remus Uomo, a table for 10 at Kynoch Boxing Promotions, a brewery tour for 2 at Tennent’s Brewery, a Turnberry Golf Experience and a £350 voucher from Rule 42 Boutique.
There’s also a £450 teeth whitening package from Haus of Dentistry for the most stylish woman as well as a hair-up voucher from Chloe’s Hair and Beauty and a spa day.
