Barron Trump has voted for the first time, supporting his father’s bid to return to the White House.

Melania Trump shared a photograph of 18-year-old Barron at the polling booth on Tuesday night. He was noticeably absent when his parents cast their votes in Florida earlier in the day.

‘Voted for the first time – for his dad,’ Melania, 54, wrote alongside the snap in a post shared to X.

Melania added that she was ‘proud’ of the teenager. Barron was seen heading from New York to Florida on Sunday ahead of his father’s election party in Mar-a-Lago.

Barron, an NYU business school student, looked smart in a blazer and dress pants as he cast his vote.

As of Tuesday night, Trump is leading Harris in the polls but this election is shaping up to be one of the closest in history. His home state of Florida has already been called in his favor.

Melania and Trump arrived at the polling station at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach earlier on Tuesday to cast their ballots.

Trump told reporters outside the polling booth he was feeling ‘very confident.’

Trump, sporting a red MAGA hat and ‘I voted’ button, said: ‘It seems that the conservatives are voting very powerfully.

‘It looks like Republicans have shown up in force.’

Asked if he had any regrets about his campaign, Trump responded, ‘I can’t think of any.’

‘I ran a great campaign. I think it was maybe the best of the three. 

‘We did great in the first one. We did much better in the second one but something happened. I would say this is the best campaign we’ve run,’ he said, standing next to his wife.

Barron has played an integral part in his dad’s campaign by helping to connect with Gen Z voters.

The youngest son of the former president has not appeared regularly by his father’s side at his rallies across the country, but has played a behind-the-scenes role in getting former President Donald Trump to appear on podcasts favored by Gen Z and millennial men, ABC News reports.

Barron first suggested his father appear on YouTuber and wrestler Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive. 

This ended up being the first one Trump appeared on back in June, an insider with the campaign told the outlet.

Trump, 78, has since gone on to appear on a number of other podcasts, and even sat down with popular host Joe Rogan on Friday.

The family were spotted with a mass of Louis Vuitton branded luggage and suit clothing covers bearing the presidential emblem as they set off from Trump Tower on Sunday 

His efforts have seemed to pay off, with each podcast that Trump has appeared on garnering millions of views – not counting clips viewed on social media.

The presidential hopeful revealed his son had been counselling him in the final days of the election.

‘Dad: take it easy, now. You just take it easy dad, alright? You don’t have to go too much here. He gives me good – he’s very wise,’ Trump said Barron told him.
