EXCLUSIVE'Did we get off on the wrong foot?' Insiders reveal how Kim Kardashian patched things up with Martin Brundle as she FINALLY speaks to SkySports presenter at the Singapore Grand Prix

Kim Kardashian didn’t want to be in F1 fans’ bad books again as she attended the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday.

The reality star made sure to patch things up with SkySports icon Martin Brundle as she finally spoke to the presenter during his famous grid walk and asked him ‘did we get off on the wrong foot?’

She previously ‘rudely’ ignored the broadcaster in Monaco during a toe-curling encounter which saw her ridiculed by fans on social media.

But it has now been revealed that Kim had her team contact SkySports ahead of the race at the Marina Bay Circuit as she didn’t want to face backlash again.

The SKIMS mogul is said to want to make a ‘good impression’ with F1 fans and in the paddock as her relationship with Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton continues to go from strength-to-strength.

An insider exclusively told Daily Mail: ‘Kim’s team reached out to SkySports to make sure she could do the Martin Brundle grid walk chat due to the backlash she had received last time.

‘She got off on the wrong foot with the presenter in Monaco and didn’t want a repeat of the backlash at her second race.

‘Ahead of the Grand Prix in Singapore, Kim made sure her team reached out to SkySports to organise a time and a place to meet the presenter during the chaotic grid walk so there was no awkwardness.

‘Instead of standing by Lewis’ Ferrari, she patiently waited on the red carpet for Martin at 7:15pm (12:15pm BST) so she didn’t miss him.

‘She really wants to make a good impression with F1 fans and in the paddock as things get more serious with Lewis’.

During the 45 second chat, Kim, who was dressed to the nines in a floral corset dress, apologised to Martin for ‘getting off on the wrong foot’ when she brutally snubbed him.

Speaking moments before the race she jokingly asked ‘did I not know the rules?’ – with guests on the grid told they must speak to broadcasters if they wish to enjoy the gridwalk.

‘Did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?’ she said as she jokingly placed her hand on his arm.

Of F1, she said: ‘I think it’s amazing and fun and wild and something I’ve never seen before. It’s amazing.

‘I’m just praying for the best tonight. Yes, [he is] very confident and so am I, just got to pray for the best.’

Hamilton started in P3 but a disastrous strategy call meant the Brit fell down the pecking order in the final few laps owing to tyre degradation.

Kim and Lewis began dating in around February this year and have since gone Instagram-official.

The seven-time world champion had spent the summer with Kardashian, with the pair spotted together cycling on Lime bikes in London, while they also enjoyed a getaway in Paris.

Kim and Lewis have known each other for years before recently sparking up a romance.

Back in late January, the stars were seen checking into an upscale hotel in the Cotswolds.

Back in June, the star supported the professional racer as he competed during the F1 Monaco Grand Prix – where her infamous non-interaction with Brundle played out on TV screens across the world.

The couple have also featured each other on their social media pages in recent months amid their romance.

And in July, Hamilton made a rare comment about his relationship with The Kardashians star.

While at the Silverstone Circuit racing venue in England, a fan said: ‘You’ve been a happier man recently, why’s that? Could that be a girlfriend?’

Hamilton replied: ‘Yeah, that’s a good one!’ before later adding: ‘Of course, of course, it’s Kim.’

Hamilton has also met the star’s four children whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West: North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven.

Kardashian recently shared another Instagram carousel which offered her followers a glimpse as she made a glamorous appearance at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Opening Night in L.A. earlier this month.

While the reality star posed solo on the red carpet, the couple were later pictured together inside the festivities.
