- Unbelievable stunt unfolded two hours ago in the centre of the city of London
A daredevil free-climber dressed only in shorts was spotted climbing London’s Cheesegrater building this morning by stunned workers watching from their offices.
The man made his way up the side of the 50-storey tower, which is opposite Lloyd’s of London.
The Cheesegrater is the nickname for the Leadenhall Building, which is 224 metres – more than 700 feet – high.

Onlooker Theo Livesey tweeted: ‘Some Friday morning for this fella on the Leadenhall building.’
Pictures online suggest the man successfully reached the top of the tower.
It is understood he has now come down from the structure and has been arrested.

A source indicated the daredevil was a climber and was not part of any kind of protest activity.
The Leadenhall Building declined to comment.
Chief Inspector Tom Fisher, City of London Police said: ‘A man has been arrested for aggravated trespass after climbing up the Leadenhall building in the City.
‘We were called at 9.06am and quickly put a cordon in place.
‘He was met on the roof by police officers and taken into custody.’
