It’s supposed to be a time when style excels – and yet, London Fashion Week left a lot to be desired when it came to some celebrities’ outfits.
During a five-day run from September 17 to 21, the capital’s catwalks previewed autumn/winter 2026 and spring/summer 2027 fashion from the likes of Burberry, ASOS and Mulberry, spotlighting ‘gardening-core’, edgy romanticism and ‘messy girl’ aesthetics.
While familiar faces stunned in bold, experimental front-row attire, others missed the mark with underwhelming or chaotic ensembles.
Actress Emilia Clarke arrived at Alexander McQueen’s show on 20 September in an eye-catching yet awkward ensemble that showcased the designer’s upcoming range.
The Game of Thrones star, 39, turned heads wearing a grey herringbone jacket, cinched at the waist by a belt, and a matching puffball skirt, complete with a chunky metal choker with ball charms, beige and black metal-tipped boots, and a black handbag.
