The fourth series has been split into two – with the second airing later this month.
Fans will have to wait until February 26 for the final four episodes.
On February 13, Netflix finally dropped a first look trailer for the second part of its steamy fourth series – and it’s packed with THREE hot-under-the-collar romps.
The regency-era drama series returned to the streaming service last month, with the first four episode of its highly anticipated fourth series, and four more to follow on February 26.
With the date fast approaching for its return, a first look has shown the forbidden love between Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton and Yerin Ha’s Sophie Baek boiling over.
The trailer sees Sophie and Benedict growing closer once again – after the ladies maid was last seen fleeing following a staircase romp with Benedict, as the Bridgerton son asked her to ‘be his mistress’.
And it seems that despite upsetting her, Benedict hasn’t backed down in chasing after Sophie, instead sending her letters and following her around the Bridgerton house to keep her attentions in his direction.
‘There are moments in our lives where we arrive at a crossroads,’ the voice of Lady Whistledown can be heard saying at the opening of the first look.

‘For beings from opposite worlds, the desire is not the problem, but the world itself.’
‘You did not answer my letter,’ Benedict can then be seen telling Sophie, standing outside the modiste, to which she replies: ‘Because I do not with to see you.’
‘Being a mistress is the last thing I would ever want,’ Sophie is then seen explaining to one of her friends as she’s quizzed on what she plans to do.
Benedict and Sophie are then seen arguing over his proposition, with Benedict shouting: ‘How else am I meant to be with a woman society has made it impossible for me to be with?’
‘You must be brave, you cannot let fear stop you from letting your heart speak,’ Benedict’s brother Colin (Luke Newton) tells him in another shot.
The second eldest Bridgerton son is then seen approaching Sophie as she watches on during a lavish dinner at the household in an attempt to share his feelings.
‘You hurt me, when do you stop to think about me?’ Sophie is heard hitting back at her love interest, who then replies: ‘Every moment of every day… you have taken possession of me.’
The duo are then seen sharing a passionate kiss, before Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) pulls his younger brother aside to warn him: ‘You’ve convinced yourself that she is reason enough to risk everything!’

Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) is then seen confronting Benedict about his decision to chase Sophie, explaining: ‘There is one choice you will have to make: your family.
‘Whatever you choose, you must live with it forever.’
In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it flash, it also appears Violet is back in the bedroom with her love interest, Lady Danbury’s brother Marcus.
A split-second clip then sees Sophie and Benedict sharing another passionate kiss, before a third shows another teaser at the iconic bath scene that saw fans thrilled with another teaser trailer released this month.
Fans have already gone wild over the first look, taking to the comments section on YouTube to share their excitement for the conclusion of the series.
One penned: ‘The orchestration of emotions and opulence in this trailer is simply magnificent truly unparalleled brilliance.’
Another agreed: ‘This trailer is the most beautiful so far,’ as a third chimed in: ‘Never replayed and paused a video so many times in my life LMAO.’

There are a series of kisses between the pair through the trailer
The series shone a spotlight on Luke Thompson’s Benedict, the free-spirited second eldest brother of the Bridgerton family, as he finds love with Sophie, the illegitimate daughter of an Earl forced into servitude.
While fans watched on as Benedict and Sophie grew closer – it all appeared to be ruined in the cliffhanger fourth episode, that saw the ladies maid storming off asking she was asked to ‘be a mistress’ by the Bridgerton’s second eldest son.
But a first look has confirmed it won’t be long before the two characters share an intimate moment once again, this time around a steamy bathtub.
The clip saw Benedict and Sophie looking wantonly towards one another across the bath that has been filled in one of the bedrooms of Bridgerton House.
Pacing around it together, the pair are soon involved in a close embrace where Benedict can be seen leaning in to kiss Sophie.
The ladies maid is then seen completely undressed, letting down her hair – as she stands alongside Benedict who has also stripped off his clothes.
Fans of the franchise nodded towards the Bridgerton books, noting that the ‘bath tub scene’ is important in the development of Benedict and Sophie’s relationship.
The bath scene is a much-loved moment by Bridgerton book fans, as it sees the couple finally opening up about their feelings for one another as they share a bath.

Not spoiling more on what’s to come from the scene, one fan wrote: ‘The bath tub scene. Book readers if you know, you know,’ as another said: ‘Be prepared readers, our moment is on the way.’
The new moment is yet another steamy scene to be added to the list – with a handful of sex scenes already playing out in part one of the new series.
Among them, just 14 minutes into the first episode, Alice and Will Mondrich, played by Emma Naomi and Martins Imhangbe, are seen enjoying some flirty in-bed banter.
Despite there being no on-screen sex scene, it’s clear that their cheeky chat, as they muse over the power dynamic in their relationship, is taking place before, after or even in-between some action in bed.
Mostly because Martins’ character Will is completely nude, showcasing his bare behind for the camera as the duo chat away in their bed.
Bridgerton will set pulses racing once again as Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek get steamy in the bath tub – as Netflix have teased what’s to come in part two

At 22 minutes into the third episode, Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) and her husband John Stirling, Earl of Kilmartin (Victor Alli) are seen getting hot under the covers.
Later, at 41 minutes into episode four, Francesca and John are back at it – and thanks to the helpful advice of Penelope, she’s having a much better time in the bedroom.
About 30 minutes into the third episode of the new series, Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton) enjoy a bump carriage ride together in a nod to their iconic season three scene.
And 52 minutes into the fourth episode, Violet Bridgerton had love interest Marcus, who she was introduced to by his sister Lady Danbury in series three, over for a piping hot nighttime ‘tea’.
It all culminated in the final intimate scene, just minutes before the conclusion of episode four, with Sophie and Benedict turning up the heat in the hallway.
Bridgerton returns to Netflix on February 26.
