Matt Damon wasn’t lacking for company as he attended the London premiere of his new film The Odyssey on Monday.

The 55-year-old actor was joined by his wife Luciana, 49, and all four of their daughters: Alexia, 26; Isabella, 19; Gia, 17;  and Stella, 15.

While Damon exuded confidence in a gray three-piece suit, light blue shirt and tie, Luciana looked glamorous in a black gown with piping details running across it and a chic updo that allowed a few tendrils to dangle down her bare shoulders.

Their daughters were equally dolled up in floor-length gowns of various colors and fabrics.

Damon plays Odysseus, the Greek King of Ithaca, in the film directed by Christopher Nolan. The story follows his long and arduous journey home after the Trojan War to reunite with his wife and son.

The A-lister, who recently revealed how ‘ruthless Hollywood’ has affected him as a father of four, is known for keeping his family life private and rarely brings his wife and daughters to movie premieres, which made it so unusual for the whole family to come out in force to support him.

The outing comes in the wake of Damon’s comments about how quickly life seems to go by with four daughters under the roof.

‘Don’t blink,’ Damon told Jason Kelce during an appearance on the New Heights podcast in January.

‘My daughter [Gia] broke her collarbone, and this morning she was getting ready for school. She’s 17, and she asked me to brush her hair. And so I brushed her hair, and I mean, I hadn’t brushed her hair [in] I don’t know eight, nine, years?’

One of the reasons why he fell in love with Luciana was that she was a dedicated single mother to her four-year-old daughter Alexia.

When they married in 2005, Damon legally adopted Alexia, and he gladly accepted the challenge of being a stepfather.

‘I jumped into the deep end with Lucy. I mean, Alexia was already four. I was an extra dad,’ he previously told Parade.

The couple went on to welcome three more daughters: Isabella, Gia and Stella.

Damon admitted that his journey to parenthood was ‘very different,’ adding: ‘I can’t imagine my life having not gone down that road. I can’t imagine what my life would be now. I don’t want to imagine it.’

The actor is known for keeping his family life private and rarely brings his wife and daughters to movie premieres, but this was an exception to the rule

While Damon leads the cast of Christopher Nolan’s epic, he praised the team spirit of the project and insisted the big-name stars of the production were treated just the same as the rest of the cast and crew.

‘There was no special treatment,’ he told People.

The Odyssey premiere also brought out all the film’s stars, including Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Damon, Charlize Theron and Zendaya

‘It was so difficult to get the shots that we got, the way that we got them, that it really required every single person on that cast and crew to just completely max out day after day after day.’

And the Good Will Hunting star promised audiences will be ‘getting [their] money’s worth’ if they see The Odyssey in the cinema.

‘I came away from that experience just feeling really lucky and grateful that I got to be a part of a team like that, because it never could have worked if everybody hadn’t completely just pushed themselves beyond what they thought they could do,’ he revealed.

‘So I’m really excited for people to see it. It’s worth their money for what it took for us to make it. You’ll be getting your money’s worth.’
