A notorious wasp landed on a World Darts Championships contender’s face before he appeared to kill it.
After the pally wasp made an appearance, David Munyua seemingly hit the insect, killing it on the spot and putting it back into his pocket afterwards.
In a press conference afterwards, Munyua said ‘I tried to put the wasp in my pocket to stay with me, because I love going through tough things.
‘I don’t know how it escaped I have seen how it has been interfering with other players.
‘you need maximum concentration, you need to be there yourself, so when you get little disturbance.’
The Kenyan, who works full time as a vet is the first man from his country to step on the biggest stage in the sport.
