This is the hilarious moment a woman was left in tears after trying the ‘sourest candy in the world’ on camera.

Influencer @underratedhijabi, who recently celebrated 1 million subscribers on YouTube UK, is known for her daredevil candy stunts, but even she was shocked by its razor-sharp flavour of the confectionary.

She took to Instagram to share one of her bravest experiments yet – tasting Mr Simms hard boiled Mega Sours, said to be so sour, they’ve been dubbed ‘Black Death’.

She began with a disclaimer, warning that the ‘scary’ sweets are not to be tried by anyone ‘under eight years of age’, before cautiously popping one into her mouth.

In a matter of seconds she burst into a series of convulsions that people thought were so hilarious, they branded the influencer ‘possessed’.

Speaking from the front seat of her car, she explained: ‘This is called Black Death. It is the most sour candy in the world.

‘Warning! Not suitable for anyone under eight years of age. Let’s give them a go’.

The content creator then launched into a brand new packet of Mr Simms Megasours – her eyes alight with excitement as she tore the bag open.

She held the contents of the bag towards the camera, giving viewers a close-up view of the sweets.

A look of fear set in as she said: ‘That looks so scary!’

She continued: ‘Why does it look like it’s made out of glass and concrete?

‘Let’s give it a go Bismillah (meaning in the name of God or Allah)’.

The daring content creator grabbed the Brussel sprout-sized sweets and placed one in her mouth, apparently signalling the point of no return.

For a moment she remained poker-faced, staring intently into the camera without offering a hint to what she was thinking or feeling.

But then, in a blink of an eye, her body began shaking, at one point leaving her needing to take hold of the steering wheel to compose herself.

It appeared there was no way out as she continued to jerk and grab at her head and clothing in an extreme manner.

Seconds later, she paused momentarily, only to release a fit of tears and a loud scream. She was so stressed that saliva began dripping from the bottom of her mouth.

In an attempt to describe the hair raising moment, she explained: ‘It feels like um like there’s a metal road at the back of my throat.’

Clearly unperturbed by the recent event, she courageously tried the sweet once more, before seizing up and immediately spitting it out.

The hysterical video has attracted over 600 comments, with people eager to weigh in on what they had just watched.

One person wrote: ‘A spirit has passed through you’.

Someone else said it looked like ‘electrocutions’: ‘It’s like you were being electrocuted or possessed. Can’t believe you went for the second one’.

‘Girl got possessed there for a second’ said another.

A concerned fan wrote: ‘I genuinely was scared for you. I thought you were choking or having a reaction to death’.

Meanwhile someone else said: ‘That scared the hell out of me’.

The content creator is best known for her crazy food stunts and trying out odd concoctions – all from the behind her steering wheel.

She said the idea came to her during the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that she started with TikTok before later starting her own YouTube page.

She told YouTube UK about ‘falling in love’ with the platform shortly after people expressed interest in her videos – but she had a few choice words for the haters: ‘Maybe people who comment rude and negative things might learn something.

‘I’ve always been told if there is nothing nice to say, keep silent. Leaving negative comments can have an effect so please be careful what you type’.
