Nicki Chapman has revealed the sensational results of her £5,000 non-surgical neck lift after confessing to being ‘really conscious’ of her jawline.

The TV and radio presenter, 56, candidly opened up about her decision to spend £5,000 on a series of non-surgical cosmetic treatments to give her a neck lift.

The presenter – who rose to fame as a judge on Popstars and Pop Idol during the early noughties – admitted she ‘hated’ her neck being photographed before the treatments.

For the past year, she has been seeing one of the UK’s leading aesthetic practitioners, Dr Judy Todd, for a series of high-tech facial treatments.

To achieve her incredible results, the BBC Radio 2 star has undergone nitrogen plasma rejuvenation treatment NeoGen, combined with Morpheus8 micro-needling with radio frequency.

Speaking about the procedure, Nicki admitted she was very self-conscious before the neck lift and wouldn’t let anyone photograph her neck in profile.

Nicki said: ‘We’re all critical of something in our bodies, and for me it was the loose jowls and skin under my jawline. I was really conscious of it and I would never let people photograph my neck in profile.

‘I met Dr Judy Todd about a year ago and started having treatments every couple of months. My jawline, neck and chest have changed far more than I could ever have hoped. I’m absolutely thrilled with the results.’

‘Looking at the picture of myself at the beginning of this process, I can’t believe how jowly I am,’ the Escape To The Country presenter continued.

‘I’m going to be honest, I’m a 56-year-old woman, I’m not going to look like I’m 25, but looking at the pictures of me now without makeup and with no filters, it is a marked improvement. It’s so good to see the before and afters.’

Nicki started the process at the end of 2022, and since then, has had five treatments – roughly one every two months – to achieve her incredible results.

She first had four Morpheus8 micro-needing treatments to rejuvenate the skin and boost collagen, while the last was a medium strength NeoGen treatment to improve skin quality and reduce laxity and loose skin around the jawline and neck. 

She splashed out £875 on each of the four Morpheus8 treatments she had with Dr Todd, totaling £3,500 overall, while the NeoGen set her back another £1,500.

The relatively-painless treatments take around 45 minutes each and have no downtime, but Nicki confessed her nerves about having anything done to her face. 

Nicki said: ‘I was super nervous of having anything done to my face, but if you have a good doctor like Dr Judy there’s really nothing to worry about.

Candid: Nicki said: ‘We’re all critical of something in our bodies, and for me it was the loose jowls and skin under my jawline’ (she is pictured in June 2019) 

‘I’m also quite a wimp when it comes to pain, but the numbing cream she put on beforehand makes such a difference. If you have that on for 45 minutes before the treatment you can hardly feel anything. 

‘You feel a bit of a sensation as the device goes round your face but it didn’t hurt and there was no bruising at all. My skin was red for about an hour after the treatment but after that my skin settled down and by the next day it had gone completely.’

‘The way that I work for TV and radio, I need to be available all the time, so I can’t have a treatment that’s going to take me out for two of three weeks,’ she continued.

‘With these treatments the recovery time was minimal, I would say 24 hours max, and even then it was only a little bit of redness, I could still go out.’

Nicki also took natural G Herbal SKIN supplements to help speed up her skin repair and boost the nutrient levels in the skin. 

Dr Todd, who she first saw via a private consultation in London at the beginning of last year, has performed non-invasive treatments on former Strictly contestant Judy Murray, and more recently Strictly Head Judge Shirley Ballas.

At a consultation, Nicki was given a bespoke treatment programme tailored to her skin’s needs, including high-tech energy treatments to reverse the ageing process, reduce lines, wrinkles and laxity in the jawline, as well as alleviating pigmentation issues, and improving hydration and general skin quality.

The NeoGen treatment was performed all over her face, including around her eyes, and was also targeted along her jawline and her chest.

NeoGen is a state-of-the-art procedure which uses nitrogen plasma pulses to deliver controlled high temperatures deep inside the skin tissues and massively boosts collagen and elastin production, which reduces lines and wrinkles, and tightens up loose skin.

Nicki said of the process: ‘These changes didn’t happen overnight but after about six months I could see already see a huge difference.

‘We had to bear in mind that she could not have any downtime whatsoever because she was working for our biggest radio station plus filming out and about in the countryside for her popular TV show.

‘There was one opportunity earlier this year when she had a week off and so she chose to have a medium energy NeoGen treatment at this time,’ he went on.

‘This really sped up the rejuvenation process but she did have a few days of redness and downtime from this, but the results are much quicker this way, as one medium treatment is pretty much the equivalent of three lower energy treatments.

‘With lower energy treatments you will still get a result but the contraction and skin rejuvenation are more gradual.’
