Rioters have been crushed by giant panes of glass while attempting to loot shops in France.
At least two men were caught on video trying to smash their way into a store when the window crashed on top of them.
The footage, shared on social media, is among a series of examples of protesters being injured during widespread demonstrations which have spiralled out of control.
Nearly 2,400 rioters were arrested by police over the weekend after largely peaceful protests over the cost-of-living crisis and school standards descended into chaos.
The disorder led to Emmanuel Macron on Sunday pleading for ‘unity’ while vowing that thugs causing the destruction would be brought to justice.
One incident saw a young rioter’s hand being ‘blown off’ by a police stun grenade in Saint-Etienne.
Another video showed a rioter desperately trying to put out flames after his trousers somehow caught alight.

Some of his accomplices can be seen stamping on the fire as he strips to his underwear
In the 19-second clip, a masked thug and his accomplices can be seen running from a tram stop when he realised he was on fire.
As he looked down to see his tracksuit bottoms ablaze, he stumbled on to the pavement as he desperately tried to pull them down.
He then spun around and stomped repeatedly, with his tracksuit bottoms at his ankles.
The young man then fell over before others gathered around him to help.
Elsewhere in France, a protester was left ‘seriously wounded’ while attempting to loot a Lacoste store when a huge window pane collapsed on him.
In the footage, a crowd was seen gathering around a man holding what appeared to be a manhole cover which he used as a battering ram to destroy the shop window.
But the glass came crashed on his head, knocking him to the ground.
In separate footage, possibly of the same incident, a member of the public films a window crushing a protester before police swarm in.
Officers in riot gear then rush towards several rioters, who appear to run over to the injured man to help him break free.
In another clip, filmed from above, sirens blared as dozens rushed over to a masked rioter who reportedly had his hand blown off by a stun grenade.

In Italy, meanwhile, a man reportedly attempted to guard his store from masked yobs running away with stolen goods.
The shop owner, armed with a baton, paced up and down the street looking for rioters before catching a protester wearing all-black fleeing from the store.
France was last night rocked by another evening of rioting as the interior minister admitted the police had ‘lost control’ in some cities.
It comes despite President Emmanuel Macron’s pleas for calm as rioting and looting also spread to Milan.
In a national address following emergency talks with senior ministers, Mr Macron made an impassioned plea ‘for unity’ and insisted everything would be done to bring thugs to justice.
The French leader pledged that ‘all the necessary lessons’ would be drawn from the ‘intelligence failures’ that ultimately led to almost 2,400 arrests over the weekend.
The demonstrations began over the cost-of-living crisis, education standards and president Macron’s government, with most gatherings largely peaceful.
US President Donald Trump has now claimed ‘immigrants with hatred in their hearts’ had made the country ungovernable.
