Felipe and Letizia opened the Royal Theatre’s 2023/2024 opera season by hosting a performance of Medea by Luigi Cherubini.

A slimline leather belt further accentuated her curves, while the dress’s exaggerated ruffles added extra volume to her silhouette.

Letizia first debuted The 2nd Skin’s black gown in October 2021 for the Princess of Asturias Awards in Oviedo.

She was spotted in the Spanish brand’s design again last year while hosting a lavish dinner for world leaders attending the NATO summit in Madrid, alongside special guests Joe and Jill Biden.

Today the Queen paired the dress with a pair of Manolo Blahnik black PVC pumps and accessorised with a black patent belt and black clutch bag.

She teamed the Hollywood look with equally ravishing tresses, which she styled with a side part.

For her make-up, she opted for her usual nude lip, but this time with a dash of gloss. A bronzed peachy eyeshadow and rosy blush were the perfect addition to mark the evening occasion.

Meanwhile King Felipe looked as suave as ever as he extended the all-black colour theme in a tailored suit.

He teamed the suit with a white and blue striped shirt, a gold tie and a pair of black leather shoes.

The news comes amid a busy week for the Spanish royals as Queen Letizia was snapped looking glamorous while attending a glittering awards ceremony in Barcelona yesterday.

The queen was accompanied by her husband King Felipe, as they hosted the inaugural La Vanguardia Awards at the National Art Museum of Catalonia.

Every year, the prizes will recognise individuals and organisations who are active in the social, economic, political or cultural fields.

Winners will be decided by a panel of prominent personalities and members of the editorial staff of La Vanguardia, a daily Spanish newspaper.

Letizia looked typically chic in a black, midi length frock with a boat neck, and minimalist floral print featuring green stems and gold flowers.
