- Reality star made the revelation on a new episode of The Osbournes Podcast
- The 70-year-old star recently confirmed she has lost more than 28 pounds
- TV star used weight-loss drug Ozempic in order to achieve her new figure
Sharon Osbourne recently showcased her drastic weight loss – and now the reality star has revealed she doesn’t eat for ‘at least’ three days a week.
The 70-year-old lost more than 28 pounds after using controversial weight-loss drug Ozempic in order to achieve her new figure.
But, giving an insight into her current eating habits during a quirky conversation about Doomsday prepping on The Osbournes Podcast, Sharon admitted she also goes days without food.
In a clip shared exclusively with DailyMail.com, the former X Factor judge and her children Kelly, 38, and Jack, 37, were discussing with guest star Jason Kennedy how quickly the world could descend into chaos if people went without nine meals in a row.

Jack explained: ‘If you have something that someone wants, they’ll kill you for it. You know how far away we are as a society from complete and utter breakdowns? Nine meals.
‘When you break it down, you are nine meals away from complete and utter breakdown. That’s three days of breakfast, lunch and dinner. That goes away for people, they go three days without eating, they will murder each other, their neighbors, everything.’
Sharon then replied: ‘God, I do that every week. At least three days without eating.’
‘That’s called intermittent fasting,’ Kennedy replied.
Research into the health benefits of intermittent fasting – eating within a certain time window – has piled up with experts including Megan Ramos and Dr Fung extolling its benefits for reversing type 2 diabetes, burning excess body fat, extending a person’s lifespan, staving off heart disease, and even preventing cognitive decline associated with dementia.
Sharon discussed her weight during a recent interview on Talk TV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored, admitting: ‘I didn’t want to go this thin.’
Sharon, who lost weight over the course of fourth months while using the jabs, said she felt nauseous everyday and insisted it was not a ‘quick fix’.

She has since stopped using the drug, and told Piers: ‘It’s just time to stop, I didn’t actually want to go this thin but it just happened. I’ll probably put it all on again soon!’
Speaking previously to E! News, she explained: ‘In my life, the heaviest I was, 230 pounds and I’m now under a hundred. And I want to maintain at about 105 because I’m too skinny. But I’m trying to have a healthy balance.’
During a discussion on the controversial injections on The Talk in June, Sharon shared her first-hand experience of the drugs.
‘It is a mental problem. It really is, apart from, you know, when children grow up in a household where they live off chips and pies,’ she said.
‘But I took [the injection]. I took it for four months and I lost 30 pounds, but like everything, there’s always no quick recipe.’
She continued: ‘I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.
‘But listen, I took it for four months, I lost 30 pounds. I’ve just shoved two chips in my mouth, while we had the break, and I eat normally now, and I haven’t put on a pound. Nothing.’

Elsewhere, Sharon opened up about undergoing her most recent cosmetic surgery after a previous facelift had left her looking like ‘Quasimodo’.
The former music manager has been open about her fondness for aesthetic tweaks over the years, but hasn’t denied having regrets.
‘There’s not one part of my body that I haven’t had twisted, lifted, elongated, whatever,’ she told the Daily Star.
‘I’ve been messed up many times. This last one was a kind of fix-it job from the guy that did it before.
‘I looked like Quasimodo, because I had one eye here, one eye there. It was wicked.’
The mother-of-three previously confirmed that the disastrous facelift took place in October 2021, and took five and a half hours.
