  • The New York-based flight attendant noted that she paid $350 for the ink

A woman has pleaded for someone to help her cover up her fresh tattoo after an inexperienced artist freehanded the drawing and left her arm covered in ink she didn’t want.

Rosie Puff, 24, has cautioned people on the web to chose their tattoo artist’s carefully after she ended up with an ‘awful’ drawing of Medusa on her arm.

The New York-based flight attendant lamented about the ink after she shared that an artist who had ‘six months of experience’ went rogue mid-appointment.

Rosie revealed she wasn’t aware the artist steered off the stencil until after the appointment ended – adding that she paid $350 for ink, despite it being ‘nothing’ like what she wanted.

The content creator showed the tattoo in a viral clip, which has so far amassed over 754,000 views.

The video began with Rosie with her head down as she warned viewers: ‘Please please don’t go to a tattoo artist who has only six months of experience.’

She then showed an image of the tattoo she wanted, which featured the head of Medusa with light shading.

The clip then cut to the tattoo Rosie received, which was branded a ‘Bratz’-themed Medusa as it featured large lips, dark shading, and big eyes.

Rosie captioned the video: ‘Can anyone please cover this up? I paid $350!’

She added that the ink isn’t what she ‘wanted or expected.’

In a follow-up video, the 24-year-old shared a close-up of the snakes to show viewers the ‘uneven lines’ and dark shading that didn’t match her initial request.

Two months after receiving the tattoo, she shared another clip of the tattoo.

While the 24-year-old had hope the ink would grow on her after it healed, she noted that it looked ‘worse.’

She captioned the video: ‘Two months healed and its giving a failed Bratz character. That’s not Medusa, that’s Maddy.’

Rosie once again begged one of her viewers to ‘cover up’ the tattoo.

People flooded the comments section and expressed their shock over the ink.

One person wrote: ‘It looks awful, I’m sorry but the artist was a flop.’

Someone else commented: ‘It’s not great but could be so much worse.’

‘The lines are incredibly uneven, you can tell they have no idea how to shade and they dug into her skin. No, it’s a bad tattoo,’ added another user.

‘It’s ugly,’ shared one person.
