In a viral video, which has so far amassed over 140,000 views, Alex shared her top tips for losing weight while on a diet as she shared a shot of what she looked like before and after she began implementing these foods in her daily routine.
‘The four foods I ate to lose 20 pounds and go from this to this girl who auditioned for Sports Illustrated,’ she said at the beginning of the clip.
During her weight loss journey, which took ‘about a year,’ Alex noted that she focused on getting as much protein as possible.
She noted that she heavily relied on the Whole Foods Organic Gluten-Free Chickpea Pasta.
‘I started focusing my meals around protein so this Whole Foods Chickpea Pasta became my life, honestly they should sponsor me by how much I eat it still to this day,’ Alex explained.
The 32-year-old noted that she often throws in some sauce, sausage, and cheese to amp up the protein level.

‘I always add cottage cheese into my eggs for a little extra protein.
‘I eat the same assortment of food on a weekly basis because that’s what’s best for your body when you’re trying to lose weight,’ she explained.
